Hamlet

No, I don't believe the Queen Gertrude participated in the King's death. When the King was murdered Gertrude was already dead. She died from drinking the poison meant for her son Hamlet.
In Act5, Scene2, Line 320 Hamlet stabbs King, Line 325 King dies after being forced by Hamlet to drink what was left of the poison that killed his mother Queen Gertrude.

Hamlet

I do not believe that Hamlet was crazy. But I do believe he had every right to be. I think he was simply doing what he felt he needed to in order to avenge his fathers death. Yes he portrayed himself as crazy but infact he was far from. In my opinion, he had feelings inside and might have suffered from depression considering all that he was dealing with.
It starts with his uncle Claudius who kills the King (Hamlet's father). Claudius then takes the throne, as well as, the Queen ( Hamlet's mother). Later the Queen dies from drinking the poison set for Hamlet.
Wait a minute.... maybe he was crazy because I personally might have gone insane to say the least.

Trifles

In the play "Trifles" the female characters represent housewives from different backgrounds and lifestyles.
Mrs. Peter's is rich and married to the Sheriff (head honcho). She is a dynamic and complex character. Mrs.Peters started out not wanting to be an accessory then later taking the bird from Mrs. Hale.
Mrs. Hale is a stay at home mom. She is a dynamic and complex character.
Mrs. Minnie Forster Wright was a battered wife. She was an indirect character . I guess you can say she too is a round character, because she went from being a sunshine to a cloud.

Rituals

About ten years ago my bestfriend Temar and I celebrated Easter together. It was not on a Sunday , but it was in a Church, an Ethiopian Orthodox Church. I was ready to be enlightened. I had never attended an Ethiopian celebration.
In Temar's family the ritual was to attend church on the Saturday before Easter Sunday. The service would last all night into early hours of the morning. Although, there were similarities, the differences were intriguing. We were preached to, fed and entertained.
The Ethiopian cuisine consists of spicy vegetable and meat dishes, usually in the form of wat (or wot), a thick stew, served atop injera, a large sourdough flatbread, (which is about 50 centimeters (20 inches) in diameter and made out of fermented teff flour). No utensils are used, Ethiopians eat with their right hands, using pieces of injera to pick up bites of entrées and side dishes. (Wiki-Pedia)
At the end of the service, I was very tired and vowed to never attend again but I did really enjoy myself. I think the food and the love was the best part of that night.
